Tracksuit fabric rules in fashion for another season (which one? I don’t count anymore…). It’s hardly surprising, since you can sew almost anything from it, and on top of that it’s comfortable to wear. Only the patterns change, and designers have their hands full outdoing themselves in their creative work.

This material provides 100% comfort, but it works mainly for casual, informal occasions, in a slightly sporty style. And according to me, it will always be closer to a hoodie than to a classic look, although some people even decide to wear it on a wedding day. Well, something nice for everyone!

My proposal today is a kind of parka – it has an asymmetrical cut, welts in the longer back, a binding in the front (so we have an almost universal size), two large pockets on the sides, and, of course, a spacious hood. The fabric itself is already a fairy tale – knitted from the finest yarn, draped – so we have a soft fluff inside.

The pattern is no revelation, although it is celebrating its triumphs this season. The stars themselves are a return to the past for me, and caused me to pull a white sweatshirt (yes, yes a tracksuit sweatshirt) with big blue glitter stars out of the wardrobe. The sweatshirt belonged to my mother in the 80s and is a real hit today! To be honest, I’m all for minimalism and every season I throw away a lot of clothes from my wardrobe. Every purchase is strongly thought out, I don’t hoard things… however, sometimes it’s good to keep some special bargains. 🙂

ps. I tested this blouse-parka while I was traveling – it protects fantastically from the wind!
